January 2007 London, England

I hope this newsletter finds you well and brimming with energy for the New Year.

If you're still on course and focused on your goals, AND taking action to achieve them this New Year, then that's fantastic. It means you've passed the biggest stumbling block to success in the New Year so far; January 14th, which according to the media is the day most of us give up our resolutions - a massive 50%.

Quite apart from media stories, statistically more than 70% of New Year resolutions will have been broken or
forgotten by the end of January, and of those still intact, 90% won't last past June!

'Ouch! Somebody give me a break,' I hear you scream!! That's where YOU come in; because as always, it's you that can ensure you stay on course and prove to yourself that even if you are a statistic, it's as one of the top 3-5% that do succeed with achieving what they want this year.

This issue and another next week, will be aimed at supporting you achieve your plans, so that they make it the whole way through 2007 - arriving at December 31st with a 'yippee, I'm a success'!

The 'I'm Ace!' 7 Day Challenge

No matter what area of life you're planning to improve, whether it be work, business, financial, relationship, health, etc, one of the best places to start is with self-belief. Having a deeply held, unshakable belief that 'yes, I'm a good person' immediately puts you in a forward position. So many walk around feeling not good enough, or that they don't deserve what they have, or want to have.

Life Coaching, what plans are going make today?

So, to begin 2007 off in the best possible way here's a short confidence building exercise for you - if you are up for the challenge that is! Called 'The 'I'm Ace!' 7 Day Challenge', I encourage you to begin right now, this very moment!life coaching victory

Statistics show that for the most part it's not so much how good you are or what you know that counts, rather than how good you think you are and what you think you know. What's that famous old quote from Henry T Ford... 'Whether you believe your can, or whether you believe you can't, you're probably right!'

Step 1 is to write down each night for the next week 5 things that happened throughout the day that proved that you are ACE! A couple of friendly rules here; keep it simple, and don't pre-judge/be too harsh with yourself as to what merits you qualifying for 'ace' status!

New Year Competition

If writing ideas and plans down is one of the main routes to success, then you must have a diary! I hear people who say they can keep everything in their head, to which I usually suggest they enlist the help of a diary and use their brain to visualize and design what actions they are going to take next. In short, people that use diaries are usually more successful than those that don't.

To help, I have three diaries to give away to assist you with achieving your goals in 2007. Remember, planners can hold everything from a dream board, support structure, appointments and of course reminders of when and how you are going to take those next steps.

To receive one of these FREE diaries, simply tell me in not more than 21 words what 2007 means to you. The top three entries win. Send your entry to info@mikeblissett.com writing 'competition' in the subject box. The competition is open now until next Wednesday, January 31st 2007. The best replies will be listed in next months newsletter. Postage and packing is FREE to wherever you are in the world, so get writing!!

That's all for this time. Here's wishing you success with all your plans for 2007.

Go on, make your life a masterpiece!
