Welcome to the February 1st edition of 'Your Best Life'.

Recharging the batteries
I hope this finds you well and settling in well to the New Year. I know from talking with my clients over the past month how sometimes it takes a few weeks to 'get into' the business of planning your year.

That's why I offered you a fabulous and fun exercise to get the energy pumping in last month's newsletter. Did you take and complete the 'I'm ACE 7 Day Challenge' yet? If so, I hope it reminded you just what you have to offer and take forward into 2007.

Life Coaching is making it happen

If you didn't get around to taking the challenge yet, there's still time. Follow the link below and begin your move today. It'll be listed on the website for another week, before being updated with another FREE exercise. The 'I'm ACE 7 Day Challenge' is designed to recharge and rev up your batteries so you'll be feeling truly ACE, focused and ready to create a truly mega 2007!

Remember, it's never too late to be the person you were meant to be.

Bullying, the final taboo
Bullying is not the easiest of subjects to talk about, I know. Except this week I've heard from so many people
who are or have been a victim, or perpetrator of bullying.

The reason I've received all the emails is because of the recent Channel 4 series of reality TV show, Celebrity
Big Brother. I also know from personal experience how bullying has unfortunately been a taboo subject for far
too long.

To be honest, the programme proved painful viewing, reminding us how inconsiderate and cruel some of us can be. Magnified even further when committed by previously cuddly celebrities 'live' for all to see, it showed us in condensed form just how bullying develops and can spiral out of hand.

I was bullied at school and in my first job, so know first hand how debilitating being stripped of one's dignity can be. For myself, through Hypnotherapy and Coaching, I was able to  move on from it's effects. Unfortunately, not everyone is as lucky.

Nowadays I work with people caught on both sides of the line; the victim, and the bully.

I always knew how much bravery it took for the victim to do something (it took me almost 10 years). Through my work nowadays, I have come to realize how both perpetrator and victim needs strength to admit they
need to change the situation.

Competition results!
The response to my first ever competition has been fantastic, with over 200 entries - I'm feeling more motivated just by reading them!

The question, to write in up to 21 words just what 2007 means to you, was itself an exercise in creative visualization. Remember the law of attraction; what you see you tend to attract? Hence the reason for the
competition.

Even though only three people have been selected to receive 2007 diaries, every single one of you that entered are a winner, in that you took the time to create. Simply by doing that you've dramatically increased the likelihood of achieving success in that area this year. Next is to add regular and consistent action, and watch your dreams become reality.

So, in no particular order, the winners selected are:

Sarah Boswell, who wrote 'Enjoying my children growing, learning, loving. Finding the 'me' in Mommy. David and I defining 'us' while forging a beautiful family'.

Karen Thompson, wrote 'I want to take my husband on a 2nd honeymoon to Florida - but don't tell him, it's a
surprise'! (Don't worry Karen, your secret is safe with us...)

John Chapdelaine, wrote 'I will maintain a focus on my upcoming chemo and remain organized to achieve my Goals, faith, and hope.'

Congratulations! The diaries are one their way to you.

To get a real boost, and perhaps read your particular entry, click on the link at the end of this newsletter - and get ready to be inspired!

That's all for this time. Here's wishing you a fab February!

From my heart to yours,

Mike xx
