Terms  and Conditions

‘Coaching is about moving forward from where you are now to where you want to be. With that in mind, the following ‘ground rules’ apply.’

  1. All coaching should be completed on time and within the time scales listed, unless otherwise agreed at the beginning of the coaching contract. If longer intervals are required, coaching will be charged at individual session rates: £175 per hour, or £95 per half hour.
  2. The client should always come to a call/meeting/email prepared to work, think ‘out of the box’, be challenged, and to focus on the chosen subject of that session.
  3. Payment is in advance , and for monthly coaching is monthly in advance. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or debit/credit card.
  4. Please make sure you are on time for your appointment, and in any case are not later than 15 minutes after the agreed start time, after which the session will be forfeited. For eCoaching, all emails should arrive within the time frames previously agreed. Any time lost at the beginning cannot be made up at the end. Time keeping is a pre-requisite of coaching – and your most precious resource!
  5. Re-scheduling or cancellation of appointments should be notified at least 24 hours in advance of the session otherwise the session will be forfeited and charged in full.
  6. You may e-mail or call me between scheduled sessions if you have a challenge or want to share a success with me.
  7. Hours of business: Monday to Friday 11am and 7pm.
  8. For our work together to be effective, you have to be honest with me. If I ever say or do anything in a session that you don’t feel comfortable with, or if you have any concern regarding the way we are working, please let me know as soon as possible.
  9. Anything discussed within your coaching appointment will be regarded as confidential, whether business or personal.
  10. Before coaching can begin two copies of this contract will be posted to you for you to sign, returning one copy to me and keeping one copy for yourself.

‘Coaching is in no way to be construed as psychological counselling or therapy of any kind. Coaching results are not guaranteed. The client enters into coaching with the full understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.’

Today I've been setting up the next step in what I offer on my websites as a Business Leadership Coach, and it's a series of regular teleseminar interviews called 'People Who Do Business'.
Each week I'll be talking with people in business, finding out what they do, how they do what they do so well, and what nuggets of wisdom they might offer you.

   Mike 2010

Quote of the day... 'Be the change you wish to see in the World!'

Mahatma Gandhi

'Mike's been...  coaching with me as I've moved from working for someone else, to working for myself through to running my own company and has helped me on the journey.

'The process hasn't always been easy, and there have been plenty of trying times along the way. It's been vital to have him to check in with and to know that he's on the end of the phone if something urgent crops up.

'I've known and worked with Mike for over five years. Over that time, Mike has been a great, invaluable support. He's been instrumental in assisting us make some substantial changes in our business and has been there to ensure that things have gone well for us and our company.

'I have no hesistation in recommending Mike's work.'

Ewan Lacey, Director, Business Confidence. (February 2010)
