Biography

Mike is an trained and accredited Personal Performance & Business Coach, Trainer & Master Practitioner of NLP, Clinical & Sports Hypnotherapist, and Though Field Therapy Practitioner with offices in Harley Street, London.

His core value is communication.

Born in Nottingham and raised in Grantham, Lincolnshire, Mike knew from a very early age that successful communication was his life quest. As a teenager Mike suffered with a severe stutter and overwhelming shyness. However, by his early 20s Mike had begun to take ownership of his stutter, learning correct breathing techniques, relaxation, and confident visualization through hypnosis. After 6 weeks he never stuttered again.

Today, as a successful writer, Mike’ s work has been featured in publications such as Sugar Magazine, Attitude, The Times, the Grantham Journal, the Fiona Harrold Consultancy website, and the  Coaching  Academy  website and training material. His first motivational book, ‘Get Motivated – 7 Steps to the Life You Want’ was published by HodderMobius in April 2005. He is now working on two further writing projects, one personal development, one novel.

Quote of the day... 'Whether you believe you can, or whether you believe you can't - you're probably right!'
Henry T Ford

'Dear Mike: 'Thank you so much for the coaching we've done this year. I know I'm in a totally different place now than I was 12 months ago, and whilst you remind me it's me that has done all the work, I also know it's you I have to thank with all the support and encouragement to get me there. I look forward to continue coaching with you in 2009 and achieving some more of my dreams - which I now know can become my reality.''
Tony Roberts, Entrepreneur, Birmingham, England

'Dear Mike: 'I attended the workshop you did with The Coaching Academy this weekend, and I wanted to write to say firstly a big thank you for all the energy and insight you put into the two days, and also let you know your inspiration has helped me decide I also want to train as a coach. Who know' s what type of coach I'll be just yet, though just to know I'm 'a work in progress' as I remember you said we all are, is a good place to be. I know we'll be in touch and I look forward to doing some more of my coach training with you.
Brian Davis, Birmingham, England
